    Hi Richard,

As I read “According to Roy” I am reminded of an Author by the name of Christopher Moore, who wrote a book called, Lamb. Are you familar with his work? If not, you should check it out.

I am not familiar with his work. Thanks for the recommendation though. I’ll put him on my list of books to read. Any title in particular you would recommend I start with?

His recent novel is a hard read to commit to, but Lamb is currently on the reading rack in the Throne Room. I would start there. With the novel I mean, although, the Throne Room is a great place to start to…

When I read your blogs I feel a bit like the creepy neighbor who is always looking through thier window at you. The one who knows all of you business except the actual details needed to full appreciate your life.

I find it oddly facinating to read your thoughts feeling some how connected and yet have no real contact with you.

Nevertheless, I find your writing facinating and clever.

Thanks Derik. You creepy neighbor you. Isn’t it nice to know that even after 15 years I can still go off on tangents that are going to keep you mildly to mostly entertained.

    Rich,

I am amazed at the time and energy spent just answering the comments and the putting out new posts.

Does it ever become over whelming to you?

I really do enjoy you posts and comments, also don’t remind me that it was 15 years ago that we were in college together. not cool dude.

    Much love Derik

Over whelming? No, not really. I enjoy it so much that it’s not a concern. It’s a lot of work, and with other stories and the novels, I am writing everyday even if I don’t get to a Smirk everyday. It’s that whole doing what you love concept. When you do that it really doesn’t feel that much like work. I plan to someday be able to do this full time instead of my current job. And believe me everyone will know about that day when it arrives. 🙂

I’m glad you are enjoying them. When I get some work published I’ll let you know so you know where to go to read them… or I’ll just post them here as well. Will have to see. Cheers my friend! And don’t worry, I won’t say anything about it being 15 years ago that we were in college together. 🙂
